I’m sure you’ve already explored the C major scale and are now hungry for more. You want the next bite of music theory that will make you a better pianist and a smarter piano player. Well then, let’s get to it. And together, let’s dedicate ourselves to the key of F major, as well as the F major scale and the F major chord.
Pay attention: With F major, we leave the comfortable world of the C major scale. This one still managed with only white keys. Now a black key is added. But don’t worry – you can do it.

F Major Scale
Sheet music
Here you can see the notes of the F major scale. Do you notice anything?
Exactly! Before a note – specifically the B – is the accidental b. This means for us: This note is lowered by a semitone. Bang, we are already on the b. This is the name of the fourth note of the lower F major scale illustration.
Let’s go. Let’s play the F major scale upwards together. Your notes are
F – G – A – b – C – D – E – F
Piano keyboard with fingering
What you have learned so far: The F major scale has eight notes and one black key (the b). So that you can play this scale in a relaxed way, you need the correct fingering. I’ll show it to you.
Master Keys Without Sheet Music
With the new turbo training, you'll be proficient in every musical key within a few weeks.
(no sheet music knowledge required)
What is important here: Your fourth finger of your right hand plays the b. Then you push your thumb under your hand and play the C with it. Then you simply continue playing the rest of the F major scale upwards with your remaining fingers.
F Major Triad (Chord)
Below you will find the F major triad as notes and as a piano keyboard in different positions: root position, 1st inversion and 2nd inversion of the triad.
Home position
In the root position, you play the F major chord with fingers 1 – 3 – 5 and the notes F – A – C. This is the F major root chord.
1. reversal
In the first inversion of the F major chord, the root note moves upwards from the root position. You now play A – C – F with fingers 1 – 2 – 5
2. reversal
Now the root note moves upwards from the first inversion – i.e. the A over the C and the F. You play C – F – A with fingers 1 – 3 – 5
Parallel minor key
The parallel minor key of F major is D minor.
Congratulations. You can now make music in F major.
How to play every song on the piano
Do you want to play your favorite songs on the piano just like that? Without notes, without tutorials and without learning apps? In your own personal version?
Or do you simply want to spontaneously improvise your musical ideas on the piano? For yourself alone or in front of an audience?

Play Piano by Intuition
Because intuitive piano playing without sheet music gets by without classical theory, you learn it as quickly as you learned to speak as a child.
While for others the piano remains a “typewriter for notes”, you understand its notes and which combinations always sound right. You can express yourself through the piano – like a small child who has just learned to speak.
In future, you will be able to rely on your intuition in any situation: You will become immune to wrong notes because you will see the right keys in your mind’s eye even before you press them.
In my free workshop I will show you how it works.
