If you know me better, then you know that I am an advocate of intuitive music making. So playing the piano without sheet music. And yes, after you have worked through this article, you will no longer need sheet music.
Piano keyboard with fingering
The E minor scale requires one black key: F sharp.
Only one black key. A dream. And it gets even better. If you want to play the E minor scale, you need the standard fingering. Which is:
1 – 2 – 3 – 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5
You start on the root note E.
The only challenge with this fingering is the change from 3 to 1. At this point, slide your thumb under your hand and onto the A. Then just keep playing until you run out of fingers.
Feel free to play the scale up and down a few times. This will give you the necessary practice.

Play Piano by Intuition
Because intuitive piano playing does without sheet music and classical theory, you learn it as quickly as you learned to speak as a child.
While for others the piano remains a “typewriter for notes”, you understand its tones and which combinations always sound right. You can express yourself through the piano – like a small child who has just learned to speak.
In future, you will be able to rely on your intuition in any situation: You will become immune to wrong notes because you will see the right keys in your mind’s eye even before you press them.
In my free workshop I will show you how it works.
